Vivo reveals its ‘Make in India’ logo – Janta Express Daily

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced the winners of its ‘Make in India’ logo contest. The smartphone maker announced that this logo will be printed on all the Vivo devices including the recently launched Vivo V19.

The company said that the logo reestablishes the company’s commitment to stay invested in the country and also reiterates that every Vivo device sold in India is made in India.

“We, at Vivo India, have been aligned to the ‘Make in India’ initiative since the beginning. The new logo design that will be printed on the box of all our upcoming devices reiterate our commitment to make India a manufacturing hub and reinstates our mission of being an internationally local organization,” Nipun Marya, director, brand strategy, Vivo India.

Vivo announced an additional investment of Rs 3,500 crore in its upcoming manufacturing facility. The brand’s total investment in India for manufacturing devices will be Rs 7,500 crore. As part of its absolute commitment to the Indian market, all devices that are sold in the country are manufactured in India, said the company in a statement.

Recently, Vivo launched its latest mid-range smartphone — Vivo V19 in India. The device comes at a starting price tag of Rs 27,990. The smartphone is available for purchase from Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce websites along with Vivo online store. It can also be purchased via authorized offline retail stores.

Vivo V19 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone offers two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution.

Vivo V19 runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own FunTouch OS 10. The USP of Vivo V19 is its front camera. The handset boasts a dual-front camera with 32MP and 8MP sensors with an aperture size of f/2.08 + f/2.28, respectively. On the rear side, users will get quad-camera sensors comprising of 48MP primary lens (aperture f/1.79), 8MP wide-angle lens (aperture f/2.2), 2MP Bokeh lens (aperture f/2.4) and 2MP macro lens (aperture f/2.4).

The smartphone is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery.
